FAQ
Is my device supported?
SnapPerf only supports Snapdragon Chipset Android devices (ARM/ARM64) running Android 10–16 with root via Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch. MediaTek, Exynos, SoCs are not supported.
How do I access the WebUI?
After installing and rebooting, Open your WebUI Manager and then select SnapPerf Modules. Make sure the module is enabled in your root manager.
My device bootlooped after installing. Help!
Boot into recovery and delete the SnapPerf module from your root manager, then reboot. Report the issue on GitHub Issues with your SoC model, Android version, and root solution.
Will this drain my battery faster?
SnapPerf includes a Battery profile that can actually improve battery life. The default Balanced profile is a good middle ground. Only Performance/Gaming profiles will increase power draw significantly.
How do I update SnapPerf?
Download the latest .zip from the Home tab and flash it in your root manager. Settings and config are preserved. You can also use the built-in update checker in the WebUI.
Can I use SnapPerf without root?
No. SnapPerf requires root to apply kernel-level tweaks via /sys and /proc. It is specifically designed as a Magisk/KernelSU/APatch module.
Where are my settings stored?
Settings are stored in /data/adb/modules/snapperf/webroot/data/settings.conf. Back this file up before wiping or reinstalling.
